Step up your basic paint pouring, made possible with DecoArt® Pouring Medium™, with this new technique.

SUPPLIES

• disposable gloves
• canvas
• wet wipes
• plastic cups
• aluminum foil pan
• balloon
• stir sticks

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Paint the entire canvas in Titanium White.

2. Pour each of the listed Media Fluid Acrylic colors into a separate small plastic cup. Add an equal amount of Pouring Medium to each cup and stir.

3. Place four large plastic cups into the foil pan and lay the canvas on the cups. Lay down a diagonal base of the Titanium White mix onto the canvas. (See photo.)

4. Layer each color directly onto the canvas in puddles along the diagonal, pouring each color inside of the previously-poured puddle. (See photo.)

5. Blow up a balloon.

6. Swirl this balloon along the diagonal and blend the pools of color into each other and slightly out.

7. The finish product will look something like this.

8. Add more Titanium White on each side of the diagonal. Blow up another balloon into a smaller form and use this to swirl the paint and the previously poured area into each other, blending it into the Titanium White area a bit more.

9. Touch up any areas along the diagonal with Titanium White.
