Colorful Painting with Blooming Flowers

Create a colorful painting with blooming flowers using Americana® Acrylics.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- 3/4" flat brush
- #8 round brush
- canvas
INSTRUCTIONS
- Use a 3/4" flat brush to very loosely paint the canvas in Citron Green, Bahama Blue, and Desert Turquoise.
- Using a #8 round brush, paint the flowers (circles) in True Red, Carousel Pink, Coral Blush, and Dioxazine Purple. Paint in a swirl motion and do not rinse brush between colors. Add as many flowers as you wish.
- Mix water with Bahama Blue 1:1 on a palette or plastic plate. Hold the canvas upright and use a #8 round brush to "drip" the stems of the flowers. Use a #8 round brush to paint the leaves in Bahama Blue.
- Mix water with Ultra Deep Blue 1:1 on the palette/plate. Hold the canvas upright and use a #8 round brush to "drip" the stems of the flowers (over the existing stems). Use a #8 round brush to paint the leaves in Ultra Deep Blue (over existing leaves). Use a #8 round brush to add little circle to the middle of the flowers using contrasting colors of your choice.
