Bring the garden inside with this adorable wood panel painting using Americana Premium Acrylics!

SUPPLIES

    • #2 round brush
    • 3/4" flat brush
    • #1 liner brush
    • grey transfer paper
    • pen or pencil
    • White Wood Planked 12x12 Panel

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Gather supplies: 12x12 plank at Joanns, brushes, Premium Acrylics colors: Primary Yellow, Titanium White, Yellow Green Light, Phthalo Green Yellow, Primary Magenta, Dioxazine Purple, Cobalt Blue Hue, Cobalt Teal Hue, and Burnt Umber.

    3. Start with transferring your pattern with a pencil and grey transfer paper.

    5. Use a flat and round brush to paint the watering can using Titanium White, Cobalt Teal Hue, and Cobalt Blue Hue. Rinse brush.

    7. Use a round brush to paint different colored flowers mixing Primary Magenta, Primary Yellow, and Titanium White to make pinks, corals, and magenta's. Rinse brush.

    9. Use a round brush to paint the sunflower with Primary Yellow and Titanium White. Rinse brush.

    11. Use a round brush to paint the purple and blue flowers with Primary Magenta, Titanium White, Dioxazine Purple, and Cobalt Blue Hue. Rinse brush.

    13. Use a round brush to paint the stems and leaves and some flower centers with Primary Yellow, Titanium White, Yellow Green Light, and Phthalo Green Yellow. Rinse brush.

    15. Use a round brush to paint the sunflower center with Burnt Umber. Rinse brush. Then use the handle end of the same brush to dip into Titanium White and put the dots inside the sunflower center. Wipe off handle end.
