SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • scissors
    • decorative paper
    • fan brush
    • decorative rubber stamp
    • palette knife
    • paintbrushes
    • mixed media paper

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Using quick strokes, paint the entire background in Yellow Green Light and Hansa Light Yellow, allowing the colors to blend and mix as you apply them in a painterly fashion.

    3. Cut a hot air balloon shape out of the decorative paper.

    5. Decoupage the hot air balloon cut-out to the top right corner of the paper with Paper Decou-Page, letting it stick off the edge slightly.

    7. Mix Quinacridone Magenta with Titanium White to make a light pink. Use the mix to paint the decorative stamp and stamp the background and the hot air balloon. Mix Blue Green Light with White Modeling Paste and apply the bee from the Bees & Birds stencil underneath the opening of the hot air balloon. Rip cloud shapes out of the decorative paper and decoupage them onto the paper. Finish by drawing lines from the bee to the balloon.
