INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Mix together Pink Tropics and Cotton Ball to make a light pink. Paint the flamingo with the mix and let it dry.
- Paint the beak and eye area in Cotton Ball. (Refer to photo.) Let dry.
- Use Black Tie and a liner brush to create the eyes and eyebrows on the flamingo. Also use to paint the end of the beak and a squiggly mouth on the beak.
- Dry-brush Pink Tropics over the tail of the flamingo to add some dimension. Dry-brush white over the neck and wings as well.
- Paint the dowel rod yellow. Cut a circle in the bottom of the bird with a craft knife; insert the dowel rod; and glue it into place with E6000 Glue.
- Paint the Styrofoam ball with Brown Sugar.
- Paint the front of the ball with a rounded heart shape in Buff Beige to make the hedgehog's face. Add the eyes, nose, and mouth with black.
- Use Cocoa Bean to outline the face. Paint the ears and add "v" like shapes to create the fur. Paint four circles on the bottom of the ball to make paws with a round brush.
