Glittery First Day of School Frame

Never miss a school picture of your child's first day with this cute glitter frame.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- stylus or pencil
- tracing paper
- transfer paper
- hot glue gun
- 3/4" flat brush
- #6 flat brush
- Sharpie® marker
- #1 round brush
- small oval
- oval laser cut frame
- large one window frame
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Here is what you will need.
- Use a 3/4" Flat brush to base coat the large frame Cadmium Yellow. Rinse brush. Then use the #6 Flat brush and separately load with Ocean Blue for the laser frame and Mars Black for the Oval Woodsie shape. Rinse brush. Let completely dry.
- Once completely dry,Use a pencil to trace and transfer pattern onto woodsie shape.
- Then transfer words onto large frame.
- Then use #6 Flat brush to add Galaxy Blue to the laser frame. Rinse brush.
- Use a #6 Flat brush and #1 Round brush to paint the woodsie shape with Ocean Blue. Rinse brush. Let completely dry.
- Then use same brushes to apply Galaxy Blue over the 1st. Rinse brush.
- Use #1 Round brush to base coat the words separately on the frame Bright Orange, Citron Green, and Titanium White. Rinse brush.
- Then use same brush to apply Craft Twinkles over matching colors using Orange, Lime Green, and Silver. Rinse brush.
- My frame still needed something so I decided last minute to add another pattern. You can transfer yours all at once with Step 4.
- Use #6 Flat brush and #1 Round brush to base coat separately paint the apple and books using: Titanium White, True Red, Festive Green, Salem Blue, Melon, Raw Sienna and then mix (2)parts Titanium White to (1) part Mars Black. Use that mix with #1 Round to make suggestive page lines.
- Use a #1 Round brush with Titanium White to add a highlight to the apple. Rinse brush.
- Then use a sharpie to outline the words "day, of, school."
- I then decided to outline the word "1st" using the #1 Round brush and then add a border line with Titanium White. Rinse brush.
- Once everything is completely dry use glue gun to attach laser frame and woodsie shape where you would like.
