INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: Let dry completely between painting steps.

  1. Here is what you will need.
  2. Use a 3/4" Flat brush to base coat the large frame Cadmium Yellow. Rinse brush. Then use the #6 Flat brush and separately load with Ocean Blue for the laser frame and Mars Black for the Oval Woodsie shape. Rinse brush. Let completely dry.
  3. Once completely dry,Use a pencil to trace and transfer pattern onto woodsie shape.
  4. Then transfer words onto large frame.
  5. Then use #6 Flat brush to add Galaxy Blue to the laser frame. Rinse brush.
  6. Use a #6 Flat brush and #1 Round brush to paint the woodsie shape with Ocean Blue. Rinse brush. Let completely dry.
  7. Then use same brushes to apply Galaxy Blue over the 1st. Rinse brush.
  8. Use #1 Round brush to base coat the words separately on the frame Bright Orange, Citron Green, and Titanium White. Rinse brush.
  9. Then use same brush to apply Craft Twinkles over matching colors using Orange, Lime Green, and Silver. Rinse brush.
  10. My frame still needed something so I decided last minute to add another pattern. You can transfer yours all at once with Step 4.
  11. Use #6 Flat brush and #1 Round brush to base coat separately paint the apple and books using: Titanium White, True Red, Festive Green, Salem Blue, Melon, Raw Sienna and then mix (2)parts Titanium White to (1) part Mars Black. Use that mix with #1 Round to make suggestive page lines.
  12. Use a #1 Round brush with Titanium White to add a highlight to the apple. Rinse brush.
  13. Then use a sharpie to outline the words "day, of, school."
  14. I then decided to outline the word "1st" using the #1 Round brush and then add a border line with Titanium White. Rinse brush.
  15. Once everything is completely dry use glue gun to attach laser frame and woodsie shape where you would like.

HELPFUL HINTS

Best is let dry laying flat so paint won't drip down.
