Spell out Dad's specialness with Americana® Acrylics and DecoArt® Extreme Sheen™.

SUPPLIES

• painter's tape
• sheet of clear vinyl
• cosmetic sponge
• wooden plaque
• chip brush
• Cricut machine

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Use a chip brush to to paint the entire plaque in Warm White. (Saturate the brush in water before loading. This will create a white-washed effect.) Set the plaque aside and let dry.

2. Use a Cricut machine to create a stencil. Select the font of your choice; just be sure "Father" is slightly bolder than the rest of the letters. Place the stencil on the plaque.

3. Use a cosmetic sponge to dab on Desert Turquoise to all of the letters. Let dry. Use a cosmetic sponge to dab on Deep Midnight Blue to "Father". Carefully peel off the stencil and let dry.

4. Use painter's tape to create accent lines (one on top and one on the left side; see photo for placement). Using a cosmetic sponge, dab on 24K Gold and Desert Turquoise. Carefully remove the tape. Let dry.
