Bold chevrons add a modern background to Old World style numbers on these burlap placemats.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• 3/4" flat brush
• 1" painter's tape
• cosmetic sponge
• chevron burlap placemat

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Here's what you will need.

2. Place the Old World Numbers stencil where you want it and tape it down with painter's tape.
3. Dip a cosmetic sponge into Everlasting and wipe off the excess paint onto a paper towel before applying to the surface. Lightly dab over the stencil. Remove and wash stencil immediately.

4. Use a 3/4" flat brush to apply Soft-Touch Varnish over the stenciled area only. Follow label instructions to cure.
