Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Using the tracing and transfer papers, transfer the provided pattern onto the canvas.
    2. Using a damp 3/4" wash brush, mix a small amount of water into Burnt Sienna. Paint in the trees. (Continue Burnt Sienna onto the sides as well.) Using Yellow Oxide and a detail brush, paint the swing rope.
    3. Instruction #2
    4. Place the Americana Decor Distressed Harlequin Stencil over the tree. Using a palette knife, smooth the White Modeling Paste over the stencil. Carefully lift the stencil. Let dry. Move the stencil around to cover the rest of the tree trunks.
    5. Instruction #3
    6. Mix a small amount of water with Cerulean Blue and paint the sky with the 1/2" flat and #5 round brushes. Use this same technique with Yellow Green Light and paint the grass.
    7. With a #3 round brush, paint the mushrooms using Cadmium Red Hue. Paint spots and the stem with Titan Buff.
    8. Temporarily place the wooden owl shapes on the canvas and trace around them in pencil. Take the owls off and paint in the traced area with Burnt Sienna.
    9. Instruction #6
    10. Using a stencil brush and Translucent White, paint the cloud shapes in the sky.
    11. Place the owl shapes back on the canvas. Trace around the eyes and beak. Use a #3 round brush to paint the eyes with Hansa Yellow Medium and the beak with Titan Buff.
    12. Place the stems from the Patio Paint Home & Garden Reusable Stick-On Funky Flowers Stencil by the mushrooms. Use a stencil brush loaded with Yellow Green Light to paint the stencil. Paint the fern leaves in Sap Green. Add dots to the leaves with Titan Buff and Yellow Green Light.
    13. Instruction #9
    14. Paint the wooden owl shapes with Burnt Sienna for the body. Use Worn Penny on the chest and Titanium White on the head and feathers area. Let dry. Once dry, use E6000 Glue to adhere the owls onto the canvas.
