    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Allow paint to dry between each step to prevent muddy colors.

    1. Using Titanium White, Warm Grey, and Titan Buff, paint a simple pumpkin shape on the bottom 2/3 of the pallet board. Leave a thin line of the background color between each section of the pumpkin. Let dry.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Paint 4 leaf clusters using Sap Green and Green Gold. To help balance your piece be sure to use a rough "x" layout when placing your leaves.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Add the 3 yellow sprigs using Yellow Oxide, Raw Sienna, and Titanium White. Let dry. Next add the four small flower buds using Yellow Oxide, Raw Sienna, Cadmium Orange, and Burnt Sienna. Let dry. The large flowers are added last. The dark red color is made using Quinacridone Violet and a small dab of Sap Green. Make the center of the large flowers the darkest red and then mix the red with your oranges and yellows to make different shades of flowers.
