Set a vibrant table with these colorfully patterned placemats made with SoSoft® Fabric Paints.

SUPPLIES

• masking tape
• wooden board
• flat brushes
• color pencil
• white canvas placemats

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Gather the supplies: Plain white placemats, SoSoft Fabric paints, and flat brushes (various sizes).

2. Using a light colored pencil, trace or draw the provided sample patterns onto each placemat. Clean off each placemat to remove hair and lint using masking tape. Tape the edges of placemat onto a stiff board.

3. Paint the first placemat with Lavender, using a small flat brush. Continue painting various designs with Green Apple, Bright Coral, and Christmas Green. Allow to dry.

4. Using Ocean Blue, Peaches & Cream, Santa Red, and Baby Pink Deep, finish painting the placemat. (TIP: You can paint with one color at a time onto all of the placemats as well.)

5. The finished look on pattern 1 is fun and colorful. Paint the other provided patterns with the same colors to create variation in the placemat set.
