INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Clean the vase thoroughly with rubbing alcohol and paper towels. Let dry completely.
- Place the circle stencil from the Americana Reusable Stick-On Anchors Aweigh Stencil on the vase to mask off the border and then place the anchor shape in the circle. (This will create a mask so that the etching is done around the anchor.) Firmly press the stencils down to make sure there are no lifted edges or air bubbles.
- Optional: To protect the rest of the vase from drips, use painter's tape to make an extra border around the circle stencil mask.
- Wearing disposable gloves, use a palette knife to scoop out some Easy Etch Etching Cream and spread it over the stencil mask.
- Let the Easy Etch sit on the vase for 15 minutes.
- Still wearing gloves, scrape off any Easy Etch left from the vase and add back to the jar for re-use.
- Still wearing gloves, wash any remaining Easy Etch off the vase; rinse the stencil and vase completely.
