SUPPLIES

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Paint the entire surface of the box with Ultra Black Basecoat. Allow to dry.

2. Sketch out a design on the box with a pencil; fill in the design with Americana Enchanted Shimmer paints. I painted the design on this container with White; Gold; and Green, blocking the colors and allowing the Ultra Black Basecoat to show in areas for contrast.

3. Continue the design around the whole surface of the box. Paint the inside with Gold. Allow to dry completely.

4. Paint the bottom with Green and Gold and blend them together. (This will allow a different finished option for display.)

5. For the other container, I basecoated with Ultra Black and allowed to dry. I painted the outside of the container first: the lower section with Blue and the upper section with Violet, blending together where they met for an ombre effect. Allow to dry. Paint Ultra Black over the design on top of the Violet and Blue ombre basecoat areas. Allow to dry. Paint Gold and Green over the Ultra Black design and allow to dry.

6. Paint the inside with the same process used for the outside: Paint Ultra Black, then Gold, then Ultra Black for the design, and then paint the design with Blue, Green, and Violet.
