Lightly sand any rough edges of the unfinished crate. Wipe off dust with paper towel.
Paint two coats of Everlasting to the inside and outside of the crate. Let dry between coats.
Place the fleur de lis from the Traditional Medallion Stencil in the desired position. Using a stencil brush, apply Relic. (Use tape, if needed, to hold the stencil in place.) Repeat the stencil the desired number of times.
Lightly sand over the stenciled design to create a distressed look. Sand the outside edges and corners of the crate so some the natural wood shows through. Wipe off dust with a paper towel.
