Measure the crates and cut another piece of scrap wood about 8" longer than the crate width.
Position crates evenly on the lower portion of the 47" piece of wood, spacing them about 12" apart. Use a t-square to make sure they are all at the same angle.
Line up the 47" pieces to make sure they match on each side.
Pre-drill holes and insert the screws.
Using metal brackets, attach the top sign to the stand.
Once everything is assembled, remove all screws and set the screws aside. Mark crates with a pencil so you know where they fit.
Paint the bottom crate in Smitten. Let dry.
Paint the middle crate and sign in Refreshing. Let dry.
Paint the top crate with Inheritance. Let dry.
Paint the 47" wooden pieces in Yesteryear. Let dry.
Create a vinyl stencil of "Grocery" wording from the provided pattern. Apply the vinyl stencil to the sign and paint in the wording using Relic.
Remove the vinyl and let dry completely.
Distress the wood as desired using sandpaper or an orbital sander.
Re-attach the crates using the pre-drilled holes.
Attach the "GROCERY" sign using metal brackets.
Fill with favorite fruits and enjoy healthy snacking.
