pencil pouch (or canvas clutch with zipper-approximately 6"x 9")

INSTRUCTIONS
Find a canvas or other fabric pencil pouch or clutch that you would like to work on. (Mine was 6" x 9" with a zipper.)
Gather the supplies, including Rainy Day SoSoft Stencil. (See photo.)
Cut a piece of cardboard to fit inside the pouch. Tape the top of the pouch to the cardboard with masking tape to keep the surface from moving when painting.
Make a very small mark on the pouch where the stencil begins and ends to know where to paint the background.
Using the guide from the stencil, free-hand draw the larger central circle and the surrounding smaller circles with a pencil.
Paint the circles with Copper (Metallic) using a flat brush. Allow to dry.
Place the Rainy Day stencil in the center of the large circle.
Load a foam pouncer with Aquamarine (Metallic). Dab the excess onto the palette or plastic plate.
Pounce Aquamarine (Metallic) onto the stencil. Allow to dry and repeat, if needed.
Touch up the edges with the appropriate color and a liner brush if needed. Allow to dry before use.
This is the way to spruce up a plain pouch. (Or use the same idea on other projects.)
If the pouch has a handle, don't forget to add a touch of metallic color with some color blocking using Copper (Metallic) and Aquamarine (Metallic).
