Americana® Multi-Surface Acrylics

  • Cotton Ball (DA500)

Dazzling Metallics®

  • Festive Green (DA261)
  • Splendid Gold (DA263)

Other supplies

  • transfer paper
  • pencil
  • terra cotta pots (or ceramic; 3)
  • hot glue gun and glue sticks (optional)
  • large flat brush
  • craft knife
  • foam core board
  • small flat brush


NOTE: Let dry completely between painting steps.

  1. Transfer the provided cacti patterns onto foam core. Using a craft knife, cut out cacti.
    Step 0 Example
  2. Assemble the cacti by inserting one center cut into the other. (If needed, use a small amount of hot glue to hold them in place.) Using a large flat brush, paint all of the cacti in Festive Green.

  3. Paint three flower pots in Snow White. Let dry. Once dry, refer to the patterns in the photo and paint them onto the flower pots in Splendid Gold.

  4. Use hot glue to adhere the cacti into the flower pots.

If using ceramic pots, paint them with a white Multi-Surface Acrylic.
