Distressed Chalkboard Crate

Here’s a notable planter for a kitchen herb garden or a seed nursery made with Chalkboard Paint.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- 3/4" flat brush
- chalk
- rectangular wooden crate
- hand-sander or sandpaper
INSTRUCTIONS
- Use 3/4” flat brush and Sea Breeze to basecoat entire crate except first board on top row. Rinse brush.
- Use hand-sander or sandpaper and distress all painted areas.
- Use same brush with Black Chalkboard Paint and paint top row board. Let dry and apply second coat.
- Put herb or other small plants into crate and label crate with chalk.
