Fashion a wooden bangle for Mother's Day with Americana® Multi-Surface Acrylics.

SUPPLIES

• paper towels
• sandpaper
• soft cloth
• stencil brush
• wooden bangle
• palette knife
• small flat brush
• medium flat brush

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Allow paint to dry thoroughly between coats. Keep paper towels handy to wipe up any drips or spills.

1. Using the small flat brush, apply Shrimp to the entire bangle.

2. Use the Americana Daisy Chain Stencil and Dimensional Effects to add daisies to each of the flat sides of the bracelet: Carefully hold the stencil over the flat side; use a putty knife or palette knife to apply a thin and even coat to one daisy. Carefully remove the stencil. Wipe off any excess Dimensional Effects with a paper towel.

3. If necessary, use fine-grit sandpaper to very gently even out the surfaces of the daisies. Wipe off dust.

4. Using the small flat brush, apply Shrimp, Poodleskirt Pink, Red Barn, and Pink Tropics to one section at a time, in thin stripes.

5. Using the small flat brush, slightly blend the colors for a subtle ombre effect.

6. (You can apply additional coats if desired for more shading and highlighting. Let dry thoroughly before proceeding.)

7. Apply Rose Gold to the bracelet with a soft cloth. Use a stencil brush to get into any tight areas. Let dry; buff to a shine.

8. Using the small flat brush, apply an even coat of DuraClear High-Gloss Varnish to the outside of the bangle.
