Decoupaged Wedding Canvas

Here's a wedding gift with lots of heart and style, made with Americana® Decou-Page.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- scissors
- ruler
- painter's tape
- 3/4" flat brush
- computer and printer
- low temp-hot glue gun and glue sticks
- black Sharpie® marker
- black ribbon
- 11" x 14" canvas
- wedding photo 3.5" x 5" (printed on printer paper)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Print the ampersand, names, and wedding photo of your choice onto regular printer paper.
- Cut out the ampersand and photo along the edges. Cut out the names in rectangular shapes. Set aside.
- Use a 3/4" flat brush to basecoat the canvas Spa Blue. Let dry.
- Tape off even sections of the canvas to create stripes. Use a 3/4" flat brush to paint the un-taped areas Light Buttermilk. Let dry; remove tape.
- Tape off a 9.5" x 6.75" rectangle in the middle of the canvas. Paint inside the taped-off section Light Buttermilk. Let dry.
- Use a 3/4" flat brush to coat the back of the wedding photo with Americana Matte Decou-Page and place it on the canvas. (Refer to photo for placement.) Repeat for the ampersand and names. Paint a coat of Decou-Page over each.
- Use a black Sharpie marker to draw dots around the edges of the center rectangle.
- Attach the ribbon onto the back of the canvas using a glue gun.
