    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Customize the plastic insects, etc., by painting: Use Black Tie on the rats; paint the snakes in Chartreuse. Once dry, add Black Tie stripes to the snakes using a 1/4" flat brush. Paint centipedes in Lipstick. Once dry, paint their legs in Black Tie.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Paint the entire candlesticks in Black Tie.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Using a 1" chip brush, dry-brush Turquoise Waters onto any raised areas of the candlesticks to create a faux oxidization.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Repeat the previous step with Cotton Ball to create the appearance of dust. (Only add this to areas where dust would naturally settle.)
    8. Instruction #4
    9. Hot glue or use E6000 Glue to adhere the snakes and centipedes onto the candlesticks. (Wind them around the edges and through the metal curls to make them look like they are crawling.)
    10. Instruction #5
    11. Make drips on the candles by hold the bottle of Liquid Glass at the edge of the candle and let it drip out slowly while turning the candle. Cover the edges all the way around. Set aside to dry for several hours until dry to the touch.
    12. Instruction #6
    13. Use a #3 round brush to paint the drips in Dark Scarlet. Once dry, assemble the candlestick set as desired.
