Tune into your music with these DIY speakers made with recycled cardboard and Galaxy Glitter™.

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • craft knife or scissors
    • empty paper towel roll
    • fan brush
    • plastic cup
    • paintbrushes

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Cut a hole, large enough to fit the paper towel roll inside, in the side of each plastic cup about halfway up. (See photo.)
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Cut a slit into the top of the paper towel roll, in the center, large enough to fit a cellphone. (See photo.) Basecoat the paper towel roll with Desert Turquoise.

    5. Paint the roll in Aquamarine and then seal with DuraClear Matte Varnish.

    7. Basecoat both cups in Desert Turquoise.
    8. Instruction #4
    9. Paint the interior and exterior of each cup in Aqua Meteor, applying several layers of glitter until the desired look is achieved.

    11. Assemble the speaker as shown.
