Creating a fun, and portable, game for the kids is child's play with Americana® Multi-Surface Acrylics.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- liner brush
- wax paper
- #10 flat brush
- fine point permanent marker
- baking sheet
- marker
- 3/4" round magnets
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
Make sure the baking sheet is magnetized.
- Place wax paper (or freezer paper) on the baking sheet. Place the magnets over the paper.
- Use a #10 flat brush to paint the magnets in Shrimp, Chartreuse, Coastal Waters, Orange Sherbet, Sky Blue, and Peach Silk. (Paint an even number of the same color.)
- Use a liner brush (or the back end of a brush handle) to dot the perimeter of the magnets in Cotton Ball.
- Use a black fine point permanent marker to write numbers: two of each number for the same color magnets. (I used a total of 14, but the number is optional and may vary according to the size of the baking sheet.)
- Remove the wax or freezer paper and magnets from the baking sheet. Use a #10 flat brush to paint stripes around the perimeter of the sheet alternating Chartreuse and Coastal Waters. (The stripes will be the same size/width as the brush.)
- Here's a game in progress! See how to play under "Helpful Hint".
