Craft Room Cubby Organization with Label Plates

Painted with Americana Decor® Chalky Finish, this cubby cabinet will organize a craft area colorfully.

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • paper towels
    • sandpaper
    • soft cloth
    • painter's tape
    • screwdriver
    • paint tray
    • scrapbook paper
    • 4" foam roller
    • wooden cabinet

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Remove all drawers and hardware from the wooden cabinet. Sand any rough areas with sandpaper. Wash all surfaces clean with a damp paper towel.

    3. Use a 4" foam roller and paint tray to apply Innocence to the outside of the cabinet. Apply additional coats as needed, allowing to dry completely between coats.

    5. Using a paint roller, apply Everlasting to the drawer fronts and sides. (If needed, use painter's tape to mark off the sides.) Allow to dry between coats.

    7. With the Waxing & Finishing Brush, apply Clear Crème Wax on all surfaces of the cabinet. Let dry. Use a soft cloth to buff to the desired sheen. Re-attach the hardware to the drawers and re-fit the drawers into the cabinet. Add labels into the hardware with scrapbook paper of choice.
