    • fabric marker
    • stuffing
    • fabric pillow wrap

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Cut wax or freezer paper and place inside the pillowcase to keep the paint from seeping through.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Print the pattern to fit the pillowcase. Use a fabric marker to outline the outer shape. (Or use the disappearing ink kind that can transfer all details, or cut out the pattern and use the round brush with Raw Umber mixed with Fabric Painting Medium to paint an outline.) Rinse brush.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Mix each color 1:1 with Fabric Painting Medium: Using Honey Brown, True Ochre, Aqua Sky, Colonial Blue, Frosted Plum, Bright Salmon, Heritage Brick, and Burnt Umber to paint the outside, inside, and sole of each boot. Rinse brush between colors and at the end.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Use the round brush to mix Warm White with Frosted Plum; use mix to add detail and fringe to the middle boot. Rinse brush.
    8. Instruction #4
    9. Use a round brush to shade areas of the Raw Umber boot. Rinse brush. Use the round brush with Teal Mint to fill in the design on the boot. Rinse brush.
    10. Instruction #5
    11. Use a round brush to mix Buttermilk with Colonial Blue. Use the mix to shade the boots and add detail and loose swirls.
    12. Instruction #6
    13. Use a liner brush and Teal Mint mixed with Chartreuse Yellow to add stitching detail to the design on the boot. Rinse brush.
    14. Instruction #7

    16. Instruction #8
    17. Use a marker to trace the shaft of one boot by laying the lace on top. Use scissors to cut a solid piece; or if the lace is thin, you can cut into strips. (See photo.)
    18. Instruction #9
    19. Use a flat brush and Fabric Decou-Page to adhere the lace to the boot of your choice. Rinse brush.
