A simple cage and bust transform into an elegant décor accent piece with Americana Decor® Metallics™.

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • rubbing alcohol
    • birdcage
    • paintbrushes
    • bust

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    Wipe all surfaces with rubbing alcohol before painting.

    Some steps may require several coats.

    Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Paint the entire birdcage in Serene.
      2. Instruction #1
    2. Using a 1" chip brush, dry-brush Pewter onto the wide band of the birdcage and the foot. Paint the top knob of the birdcage in Pewter.

    3. Paint the bust in Persimmon.
      4. Instruction #3
    4. Paint the bust in Copper.
      5. Instruction #4
    5. Place the bust in the birdcage.
