Turn a toy box into a stylish drink cooler with Americana Decor® Outdoor Living™ paints.

SUPPLIES

• sandpaper
• flat brush
• painter's tape
• Styrofoam
• stencil brush
• small round brush
• foam paint roller
• craft knife
• vinyl
• Silhouette electronic cutting machine
• toy box

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Select a toy chest of your choice that works well as a cooler. If needed, sand surface and wipe away any dust or dirt.

2. Using a paint roller, roll on Adirondack onto the entire box, including the top of the lid. (Use a flat brush to paint hard-to-reach edges and corners.)

3. Using a small round brush, paint the trim in Sand.

4. Dry-brush Sand onto the handles with a flat brush.

5. Using Silhouette machine, cut out the provided cutting file. Center the vinyl stencil on the lid and secure with painter's tape. Paint the stencil in Carbon.

6. Line the inside of the chest with 1/2" thick Styrofoam boards, cut to fit using a craft knife.

7. Paint the bottom of the lid in Sand. Let dry. When dry, stencil the Posh Pineapple Stencil onto the lid, using Adirondack, Heritage, and Enchanted. Let dry completely.

8. When dry, re-assemble the toy chest.
