INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Sand and prepare the wood and other surfaces of the message board.
    Step 0 Example
  2. Paint the wooden frame of the message board using Turquoise Waters. Divide the galvanized steel into three smaller squares. (See photo.) For the upper third, mix (2) parts Cotton Ball with (1) part School Bus. For the second third, mix (1) part Cotton Ball with (1) part School Bus. For the bottom third, use School Bus only. Apply multiple coats for even coverage, rinsing the brush between colors.
    Step 1 Example
  3. Use the attached chevron pattern to stencil onto the bottom of the wooden boards, mixing (2) parts Cotton Ball with (1) part Turquoise Waters for the chevron stripes.
    Step 2 Example
  4. Use the Word Bubbles stencil to paint the magnet sheet. Choose bright colors for the call-outs: Lipstick Red, Apple Green, Turf Green, and Pumpkin Patch.
    Step 3 Example
  5. Paint the connected buckets. Let dry. Once completely dry, stencil the words over the word bubbles. Paint the buckets using Lipstick Red. Once the call-outs are dry, center and paint the words from the opposite side of the stencil sheet onto the call-outs.
