Animal Silhouette Ornament Trio

Silhouettes of a seal, lion, and elephant highlight this trio of holiday ornaments.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- rubbing alcohol
- #8 round brush
- Contac® paper
- black fine point marker
- cosmetic sponge
- ribbon
- round glass ornaments
INSTRUCTIONS
- Using a cosmetic sponge, paint the ornaments by dabbing paint from top to bottom: Blue to to White; Yellow to White; and Purple to White, overlapping the colors for a seamless blend. (Refer to photo for placement.)
- Trace each pattern onto Contac paper. Place the Contac paper silhouettes on the ornaments and trace with a black marker: seal on the Blue/White ornament; lion on the Yellow/White; and elephant on the Purple/White.
- Use a #8 round brush to paint the silhouettes with two coats of Black.
- Use the handle end of the #8 round brush to dab on 3D dots on the same color ornament with True Blue, Bright Yellow, and Lavender.
- Use a #8 round brush to paint the ornament tops individually in True Blue, Bright Yellow, and Lavender. While still damp, wipe back the paint with a paper towel.
- Loop ribbon in corresponding color through the ornament holder and tie in a knot.
