Organize with repurposed cigar boxes and Americana® Multi-Surface Acrylics.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• wooden box
• painter's tape
• 1" flat brush
• embellishments of choice
• E6000 Glue
• 1" stencil brush
• wooden spindles

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Mix (1) part Pink Cadillac with (1) part Pearlizing Medium. Paint one box with the mix.
2. Mix (1) part White Birch with (1) part Pearlizing Medium. Paint one box with the mix.
3. Mix (1) part Pink Cadillac, (1) part White Birch, and (2) parts Pearlizing Medium. Paint the third box with the mix.

4. Use painter's tape to tape the Americana Decor Distressed Harlequin Stencil onto the top of the box. Use a brush to add Black Shimmer to each diamond shape. Cover the top and sides of the Pink Cadillac box with the design.

5. For the other two boxes, combine a word from the Americana Decor Old French Script Stencil with a key from the Americana Decor Vintage Keys Stencil to create a design of choice.

6. Paint the four spindles in Pewter. Let dry. Once dry, apply Black Shimmer to each spindle. Adhere to the bottom of the White Birch box using E6000 Glue. Let dry completely before moving.

7. Open the brooch and slide it through the opening in the base of the cigar box closure. Use E6000 Glue to glue the pin in place. (Refer to photo.)
