Christmas Tree Paint Bucket

Pack cookies/candies, small toys like miniature cars, or a gift set of toiletries into this special holiday gift container.

SUPPLIES

    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • pencil
    • painter's tape
    • #10 flat brush
    • #6 round brush
    • metal paint bucket with lid
    • ribbon (optional)
    • cosmetic sponge

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Using the pattern and a pencil, draw the Christmas tree and snow onto the bucket.
    2. Use painter’s tape for the top of tree and dab on two coats of Cotton Ball with a cosmetic sponge.
    3. Using a #10 flat brush, paint snow and the tree trunk in Cotton Ball.
    4. Using a #6 round brush, dot on snowflakes with Cotton Ball.
    5. Using a #6 round brush, paint ornaments with two coats each of Coastal Waters and Chartreuse.
    6. Using a #6 round brush, add a dot to the middle of the ornaments in Lipstick.
    7. Dab two coats of Coastal Waters onto the top lid with a cosmetic sponge.
    8. Add coordinating ribbon to the handle (optional).
