Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Using a #8 flat brush and Titan Buff, paint two round wooden pieces: a large one (for the head) and a smaller one (for the nose).
    2. Using a liner brush, paint the eyes on the large round wooden piece in Titanium White and Cobalt Teal. Line the eyes with Carbon Black and paint the lids in Quinacridone Magenta. Using a liner brush, paint the lips in Naphthol Red Light and outline with Carbon Black. Using a hot glue gun, adhere the nose in place.
    3. Using a #8 flat brush, paint the hat and body pieces in Naphthol Red Light. Using a liner brush, paint the stripes on the hat in Titanium White and the vertical stripes on the body in Quinacridone Magenta.
    4. Using a #8 round brush, paint the flat, scalloped round wooden piece and a round wooden piece (for the top of the hat) in Yellow Green Light. Using a #6 round brush, add polka dots in a 2:1 mix of Titanium White and Yellow Green Light.
    5. Use a hot glue gun to adhere all pieces in place. (Refer to photo.) Use small nails and a hammer to adhere the keys (for the arms) into place.
    6. Use the handle end of a paintbrush to coil wire, remove, and place through the holes at the top portion of the hat.
