Ribbons of bright color turn a plain wooden tray into a thoroughly modern home accent.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• tracing paper
• transfer paper
• pencil
• 3/4" flat brush
• large wooden tray

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Print off the pattern and use a pencil to trace and transfer the pattern onto the center of the tray.
2. Use a 3/4” flat brush to paint chevrons using Neutral Grey, Light Buttermilk, and Marigold.
3. Paint the tray's inside and outer sides Marigold with the 3/4" flat brush.
4. Use a 3/4" flat brush to paint the top edge and handle edges of the tray Neutral Grey.
