Shabby Chic Vintage Mirror Pair

Upcycle a pair of mirrors into a chic vintage accent with Americana® Decor™ Chalky Finish.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- 1" chip brush
- 3/4" flat brush
- 1" painter's tape
- glass cleaner
- two wooden framed mirrors
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Clean mirrors with glass cleaner and let dry. Wipe off wooden frames with dampened paper towel and let dry. Tape around mirror with 1" painter's tape.
- Use a 3/4" flat brush and Relic to basecoat each mirror frame. Rinse brush. Let dry completely.
- Use a 1" chip brush and load separately with Vintage and Primitive, wiping off excess paint on a paper towel. Lightly brush over mirror first with Vintage and then with Primitive, using a dry-brush technique. Rinse brush and make sure the frame is fully dry before moving onto the next color.
- Use a 3/4" flat brush to apply Soft-Touch Varnish to mirror frame, applying as many coats as necessary for desired softness and allowing to dry between coats. Rinse brush. Remove tape.
