Chalky Finish Easter Crate Adorned with Flowers

Celebrate Easter and springtime with this distressed container for silk flowers.

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • sandpaper
    • E6000 glue
    • 3/4" flat brush
    • wooden crate
    • silk flowers
    • wire cutters

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Use a 3/4" flat brush to basecoat the wooden crate in Relic.
    2. Use a 3/4" flat brush to paint the inside of the crate in Lace.

    3. Use a 3/4" flat brush to paint the outside of the crate in Refreshing.

    4. Use sandpaper to distress the crate, allowing the base color to show through.

    5. Use wire cutters to cut the flowers from their stems.

    6. Use E6000 Glue to adhere the flowers to the crate. (Refer to final photo for placement.)
