Clean the glass squares with rubbing alcohol or warm, soapy water. Let dry.
Once dry, use a cosmetic foam wedge to lightly smooth Black Chalkboard Paint onto each glass square. Let dry completely and apply second or third coats as needed.
Let cure for four days. Bake in an oven at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Let cool before removing from oven.
(Optional) Edge glass square with a gold paint pen for a little glimmer. Place two painted glass squares in each frame. Push frame tab down and seal with glue.
Attach silver charms as desired for a fun theme party or Swarovski crystals for a bit of color and bling.
Attach the frames to 2” round rings and the rings to the napkin rings. Place napkins through the napkin rings.
HELPFUL HINTS
For best results, load the wide end of sponge wedge with paint. Add a touch of water to the paint for smoother coverage without streaking. Use two to three thin coats and let dry thoroughly between coats.
Use the back side of the frame to add secret messages for your dinner guests.
