Personalized Chalkboard Napkin Rings

Give dinner a sophisticated look with personalized napkin rings made with glass squares and Americana® Chalkboard Paint.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- paper towels
- rubbing alcohol
- 2" round napkin rings with ring
- 1-1/2" square silver memory frames
- 1-1/2" squares memory glass (two per napkin ring)
- gold paint pen (optional)
- glue
- Swarovski crystals
- silver charms
- cosmetic foam wedge
INSTRUCTIONS
- Clean the glass squares with rubbing alcohol or warm, soapy water. Let dry.
- Once dry, use a cosmetic foam wedge to lightly smooth Black Chalkboard Paint onto each glass square. Let dry completely and apply second or third coats as needed.
- Let cure for four days. Bake in an oven at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Let cool before removing from oven.
- (Optional) Edge glass square with a gold paint pen for a little glimmer. Place two painted glass squares in each frame. Push frame tab down and seal with glue.
- Attach silver charms as desired for a fun theme party or Swarovski crystals for a bit of color and bling.
- Attach the frames to 2” round rings and the rings to the napkin rings. Place napkins through the napkin rings.
