• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• rubbing alcohol
• 1" painter's tape
• cosmetic sponge
• mugs

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: Allow to dry between painting steps.

1. Wash the mugs with warm, soapy water or clean the mug surface with rubbing alcohol. Rinse and dry well before painting.
2. Mask off the desired chalkboard area with 1" painter’s tape.
3. Use a cosmetic sponge to lightly dab Glass Chalkboard Paint inside the masked-off area. Let dry completely. Apply a second coat.
4. Let dry/cure for four days. Bake 30 minutes in non pre-heated oven at 325° for 30 minutes. Allow to cool down before removing from oven.

HELPFUL HINTS

For best results, load the wide end of the cosmetic sponge wedge with paint. Dab several times on the palette to push paint up into the sponge. Lightly pounce on the surface in random directions to apply an even coat. (Two light coats are preferable to one heavy coat.)

Do not paint areas that will come in contact with the mouth.
