  1. Trace the gingerbread man pattern onto the burlap and cut out. Use a 3/4" flat brush to paint the gingerbread man with Brown Sugar. (Paint loosely and do not cover the burlap completely.)
    Step 0 Example
  2. Using a #8 round brush, paint the "icing" on with Cotton Ball. Using a #8 round brush, add the details: eyes, Black Tie; cheeks, Flamingo; bow tie, Lipstick; and buttons, Turf Green. (Refer to finished project photo.)
    Step 1 Example
  3. Using a 3/4" flat brush, loosely paint alternating stripes on the paddle in Flamingo and Lipstick.
    Step 2 Example
  4. Using a #8 flat brush, paint the perimeter of the paddle in Cotton Ball; add stripes in Green Beret. Print out the words in the font and color or colors of your choice and cut out. Glue into place. (Refer to photo for placement.) Using a #8 flat brush, paint the shape of the gingerbread man in Brown Sugar. (This will prevent the stripes underneath from showing through.)
    Step 3 Example
  5. Adhere the burlap gingerbread man into place with craft glue.
