Make over a vintage glass cake plate and dome with Chalky Finish for Glass.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• paper towels
• rubbing alcohol
• sandpaper
• 3/4" flat brush
• 1/4" flat brush
• cake plate

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Clean the plate and dome with the rubbing alcohol and paper towels. Let dry.
2. Decide how you want to break out the different paint colors: I chose to do two areas of Serene on the outer surface of the dome and one area of Vintage. The bottom of the plate has two sections of Vintage and one of Serene. (Remember that the Chalky Finish for Glass can't be painted on areas that come into contact with food.)
3. Fill in the smaller areas with the 1/4" flat brush and the larger areas with the 3/4" flat brush.
4. Sand the painted areas until you have the desired effect.
5. Follow the instructions on the Chalky Finish for Glass package for baking.
