NOTE: Use grey transfer paper and a pencil to trace the bull pattern.
Remove the backing from the wooden frame.
Using a 3/4" flat brush, basecoat the frame backing with two coats of Vintage. Use a pencil to outline the bull skull. Use a #8 round brush to paint it with two coats of Lace.
Using a #8 round brush, add shading details to the bull skull in Primitive.
Using a #8 round brush, outline and add details in Relic.
Use a #8 round brush to loosely dry-brush swirls in Lace.
Using #8 round brush, add the remaining details to the bull skull in Remembrance, Promise, and Serene. (Refer to photo.)
Using a 3/4" flat brush, basecoat the frame with two coats of Promise.
Using a 3/4" flat brush, paint the inner half of the frame with Remembrance. (Or use painter's tape to mask it off, if preferred.)
Using a 1" chip brush, lightly dry-brush Promise over the Remembrance.
Paint diamond shapes in Vintage using a #8 round brush. Push in thumbtacks. (Refer to photo for placement.) Place the backing back into the frame.
