Turn a flea market table into an accent with a Continental flair with Americana Decor® Chalky Finish paint and Stencils.

SUPPLIES

• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• pencil
• painter's tape
• 2" flat brush
• 1" chip brush
• 1" flat brush
• cosmetic sponge
• side table

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Using a 2" flat brush, paint the sides and legs of the table in Rustic.

2. Using a 2" flat brush, paint the top of the table in Innocence. Using a 1" chip brush, paint the edges loosely in Rustic.

3. Using painter's tape, mask off 1" stripes on the table top.

4. Using a 1" flat brush, paint the stripes in Rustic. (Only go in the same direction as the tape.) Remove tape.

5. Place the French Inn Stencil in the center of the table and use painter's tape to secure in place. Use a pencil to draw through the outer line of the stencil (oval part). Remove the stencil and, using a 1" flat brush, paint the oval with two coats of Lace.

6. Place stencil over the oval and secure with painter's tape. Mix Carbon with Rustic 1:1. Use a cosmetic sponge to dab the mix through the stencil. Place the ornate design of the stencil on top of the oval and use a cosmetic sponge to dab on the same mix. (Top and bottom - refer to photo.)
