INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Allow paint to cure for 24-48 hours before using. Keep paper towels handy if needed for quick clean up.
- Remove laces from shoes. Clean shoes with rubbing alcohol.
- Cover soles of shoes with masking tape. If shoes are a dark color you may want to first paint them with white Stylin. Apply two coats, letting dry between each coat.
- Using pencil, lightly sketch desired designs on shoes.
- Use a medium brush to apply two coats, letting dry between each coat.
- Use tip of small paint brush dipped in white to create polka dots. Use transfer paper and a pencil or stylus to add the word "peace" to outside of each shoe (see attached template). Use 1/2" brush to paint letters. Paint upper portion of letters in fuschia, and lower portion in a reddish orange (mix approx. 2 parts yellow to 1 part fuschia). Use transfer paper to draw peace sign (see attached template) to front of each shoe.
- After paint is dry, use a liner brush to outline letters, peace signs, hearts, and other design elements, as desired. Draw small peace signs with permanent marker. Using fine tipped brush add a bit of white paint to hearts, flower centers, and letters. This gives added interest and dimension.
- Let dry and have fun wearing them!
