Flowing Feather Pillow

Add some flowing feathers to a plain pillow to turn boho easily using Multi- Surface Satins!

SUPPLIES

    • #2 round brush
    • wax paper
    • tracing & transfer paper
    • #1 round brush
    • pen or pencil
    • pillow cover

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. You will need a pillow cover in your choice of color, small round paintbrushes, and Americana Multi Surface Satin colors: MelonBall, CottonBall, Shrimp, Pewter, Peach Silk, and Soft Jade.

    3. Tear Wax paper to fit inside the pillow cover so paint does not seep through the back. Then use a pen or pencil to trace and transfer the feather patterns to the front of the pillow cover.

    5. Use a round brush to base coat the feathers in MelonBall, then one in Peach Silk, and on the last one Soft Jade. Then use the smaller round brush to add the stem of the feather in CottonBall.

    7. Then use the small round brush to add details to each feather. The light green feather mix (2)parts CottonBall with (1)part MelonBall. Then on the middle feather mix (2)parts CottonBall with (1)part Peach Silk. Then add more to the middle feather with Shrimp. Then on the last feather use a mix of (2) parts cottonball with (1)part Soft Jade. Then add more to the same feather with Pewter.

    9. Once pillow case is dry you make put stuffing in or a pillow and enjoy!
