Boys Painted Back To School Shoes

Turn plain boys shoes into fun color shoes perfect for back to school
SUPPLIES
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- scissors
- #8 round brush
- painter's or masking tape
- contact paper
- scrap fabric
- fabric glue
- sports themed fabric
- fabric scraps
- clear contact paper
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Place stencil (only be using half) on the side of the shoes and adhere with tape. Using a cosmetic wedge, lightly dab on Pumpkin patch, continue around the sole of shoe (smooth part only, not the front textured portion). Repeat the process on the other shoe using Apple Green.
- Using #8 round brush paint stars on the side of the shoes.
- Using a #10 flat brush, add a coat of fabric decoupage to your fabric scraps. (this will avoid fraying) Trace and cut out patterns onto clear contact paper. Place the cut out clear contact paper over desired area of fabric (centering soccer ball, basketball, numbers, etc. To achieve the look of a patch, using #8 round brush paint the perimeter in any desired color listed. Randomly place and glue into place on shoes.
