- 2" flat brush
- 1" chip brush
- pen
- #1 round brush
- Basswood country round (Walnut Hallow)
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Use a 2" flat brush and Lamp Black to basecoat the entire top of the round. Rinse brush.
- Use a 1" chip brush and Splendid Gold to dry-brush horizontal strokes to make plaque look weathered. Rinse brush. Let dry completely.
- Use a pen and the tracing and transfer papers to trace and transfer the spider web patterns in opposite corners.
- Use a #1 round brush and Dark Patina to fill in the web fairly widely. Rinse brush. Let dry completely.
- Use the same brush and Shimmering Silver to paint thinner lines to highlight one side on each web. Rinse brush. Let dry completely.
- Use a pen and the tracing and transfer papers to trace and transfer word "Boo" to the center of the plaque.
- Use a #1 round brush and Festive Green to fill in the word. Let dry.
HELPFUL HINTS
If you are wanting to use the painted plaque outdoors, use the 2" flat brush to apply DuraClear Gloss Varnish to the plaque as a finishing step.
