INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: Let dry completely between painting steps.

  1. Make sure to clean the end table surfaces well and dry with paper towels.
  2. Use the 2" and #12 flat brushes to paint the entire frame of both end tables with Treasure. Rinse brushes. Use a #12 flat brush and New Life to paint the end tables' two corners and feet. Rinse brush.
  3. Use the 2" and #12 flat brushes to paint the drawers, medallions, and first part of front legs with Inheritance. Rinse brush. Use the same color and a #1 round brush to paint every other circle on the drawers. Rinse brush.
  4. Use a #12 flat brush and Heritage to paint the middle of the drawers, a border around the top drawer, and in between the sections. Rinse brush.
  5. Use the 2" and #12 flat brushes to paint the border around the doors and the middle section of the feet with Romance. Use the same color with a #1 round brush to fill in the sections on the top drawer. Rinse brush. Use a #1 round brush and Legacy to paint the top knob and all the remaining circles on the drawers. Rinse brush. Use the #12 flat brush with Escape to paint the two drawer handles. Rinse brush.
  6. Use a #1 round brush and Romance to paint inside each of the two corners in between the lines. Rinse brush.
  7. Trace and transfer the boho element pattern to the drawer doors of both end tables. (Refer to photo for placement.) Load a #1 round brush with Escape to paint the first element. Rinse brush.
  8. Use a #1 round brush and New Life to fill in the triangles. Rinse brush.
  9. Use a #1 round brush and Inheritance to fill in the flowers. Rinse brush.
  10. Use a #1 round brush and Romance to add dots; fill in flower centers; and add details to the triangles and petals. Rinse brush.
  11. Use a #1 round brush and Legacy to paint a round border around the flower and add dots around the New Life triangles. Rinse brush.
  12. Use a 2" flat brush and New Life to paint the whole table top. Rinse brush. Let dry completely.
  13. Use a 2" flat brush and Romance to paint a wavy border around the edge of the table top. Rinse brush.
  14. Use a #12 flat brush and Inheritance to outline the border. Rinse brush.
  15. Use a 2" flat brush to apply the Clear Crème Wax to the piece in sections. Rinse brush.
  16. Use the same brush to quickly apply the Deep Brown Crème Wax over the wet Clear Crème Wax; immediately wipe back with a clean white cloth for the desired look. Repeat in sections for the entire desk. Rinse brush.
  17. After the desk is dry, remove the two top drawers and drill four 1" screws through the top of each drawer connecting the table top to the two end tables to make a desk. Touch up any areas that may have gotten scratched.
  18. Once everything is secure, buff the waxes to a satin finish with another clean cloth.
