Blue Jean Pocketed Chalkboard

Recycle an old pair of jeans into a hip message center for school or home with Americana® Chalkboard Paint.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- scissors
- 3/4" flat brush
- chalk
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
- 8" x 10" canvas
- old pair of blue jeans
- adhesive magnet strips
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Use the 3/4" flat brush to cover the canvas with Chalkboard Paint. (Repeat as needed.)
- Use scissors to cut one back pocket from a pair of jeans. (Remember to include the backing of the pocket so it can still be used as a pocket.)
- Use a hot glue gun around edges of the pocket and adhere it to one of the bottom corners the canvas.
- Attach the adhesive magnet strips to the canvas back.
- Place spare chalk in pocket.
