- Trace the oval shape of the crate handle onto a sheet of cardstock.
- Cut out the oval shape and use to trace the shape onto the front and back of the crate.
- Stagger the shapes, alternating the number of ovals on each board.
- For the sides, tape off the middle section.
- Spread Deep Bronze (Metallic) with a palette knife into the oval shapes.
- Continue adding texture to all of the ovals.
- Let the Deep Bronze (Metallic) dry slightly and lightly swipe over the surface with a wet palette knife to smooth down the peaks of paint.
- Paint Olive around each oval shape. Allow to dry and add a second coat.
- Add Deep Bronze (Metallic) to the crate sides.
- After smoothing down peaks with a wet palette knife, take off the painter's tape while the paint is still wet to get a clean line.
- Place more painter's tape on each side of texture paint.

- Touch up the paint in any areas to finish.
