INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: If desired, fill the nail or staple holes with wood filler and sand before painting the crate.
Wash mugs in warm soapy water, rinse and dry well or wipe with rubbing alcohol before painting.
- Use a 1" brush and Everlasting to paint the crate inside and out.
- Position and adhere painter's tape around the top sections of the planter boxes. Use a 3/4" flat brush to paint one box Cactus Flower and the other Jadeite Glass.
- Position a rubber band at an angle on each mug. Use a cosmetic wedge to lightly tap Coral on the bottom section of one mug and Mint on the other mug.
- Remove the rubber bands. Use a #2 round glass paintbrush to paint a Coral band on the Mint mug and a Mint band on the Coral mug.
- Trace and transfer the lettering onto the mugs and jar.
- Use Black Glass Paint Marker to paint the words. Follow the curing and baking times on the marker label.
- Use a permanent black marker to write words of choice on the tags. Position the tags on the planter front and secure with thumbtacks.
- Screw the cup hooks into the crate. Assemble all.
HELPFUL HINTS
When painting on clear glass items, it is often easier to place the pattern inside to use as a guide rather than transferring the pattern on the outside.
