Bee-utiful Casual Canvas Shoes

Make a pair of fun and casual shoes with a cute buzzing bee with Stylin Paint.
SUPPLIES
- small and medium brushes
- 1/2" masking tape
- white canvas shoes
INSTRUCTIONS
- Start with a plain pair of canvas shoes. Remove laces (and save for later). Mix 6 parts white and 1 part turquoise to get a nice soft blue.
- Use a medium brush to paint entire shoe with light blue paint mixture. Be sure to paint the tongue, along with the edges and pay close attention to the seams as they can be tricky to get coverage.
- Lightly sketch bee design on to one of the shoes. Use a small brush to paint the body yellow and the wings white.
- Use a small brush to add black stripes, antenna and light shading to the wings.
- While that shoe is drying, grab the other shoe and lightly sketch a dotted bee trail onto it. Use a small brush to paint it on with the white paint.
- Mix 1 part black to 3 parts white to make a nice grey color. Use a small brush to shade below the white bee trail. This will help the trail show up better
- Add a heart to the inside of the wings (optional). Soften it by dry brushing a small amount of white onto the wings.
- Once your shoes have dried, lace them up and have fun!
